4:30pmUPDATE: Judge Ludington grants defense motion; hearing suspended estimated 6-12 weeks. Ingersoll required to provide weekly updates from cardiac surgeon; including his "progress toward availability".
According to a motion to adjourn filed this morning by defense attorney, Jan Geht, Steven Ingersoll is undergoing triple bypass surgery today.
The government concurs with the defense motion to adjourn, and Ingersoll's co-defendant Roy C. Bradley, Sr. does not oppose the motion.
Ingersoll was hospitalized on April 1 after suffering a heart attack and underwent a cardiac catheterization which revealed "multi-vessel coronary disease".
Without opposition from the government or Bradley, it is expected U. S. District Judge Thomas L. Ludington will issue the order to adjourn tomorrow's scheduled sentencing hearing.
